Planning for the future today
This is often the most overlooked duty of the VISD Board. It is time to bring the budget back in line with the values of the community. We will spend the time to ensure our tax dollars are used to their fullest extent.
Discipline
Connecting with Residents
For too long VISD and many others have relied heavily on a restorative approach to discipline. This one size fits all approach has tied the teachers' hands from using their long-learned experience with the individual child. We need to empower our teachers and trust them to make the disciplinary decisions.

Diversity and inclusion are at the core of our campaign. We advocate for equal opportunities, respect, and inclusion for all members of the VISD community, regardless of background or differences.
